What is PuttDaily?

PuttDaily is a free browser-based mini-golf puzzle game designed around a simple idea: one new course every day, the same for everyone. Each morning at midnight, the game generates a fresh three-hole daily course using a date-seeded algorithm, ensuring every player around the world faces the exact same challenge. There are no downloads, no accounts, and no fees. Just open your browser and start putting.

How It Works

The gameplay is intuitive: tap in the direction you want to aim, hold to charge your power, and release to putt. Courses are filled with obstacles like walls, sand traps, water hazards, speed boosters, and explosive barrels. Six different creatures roam the fairways, from wandering hyenas that reset your ball to boss enemies like deer, wolves, and bears that guard the hole and must be defeated before you can score. Beyond the daily course, PuttDaily offers weekly Bronze, Silver, and Gold courses with ten holes each at increasing difficulty levels. Every hole you complete earns XP toward leveling up, which unlocks cosmetic ball skins and trail effects. Learn more about each course tier in our Course Types Guide.

The Creatures

PuttDaily features three light enemies (Wanderers, Grabbers, and Blockers) and four boss enemies (Guardians, Chargers, Bears, and Tanks), each with unique behaviors and strategies to overcome them. Boss enemies have health bars and must be defeated by hitting them with your ball before the hole becomes accessible. Bears orbit the hole with heavy knockback, while Tanks are military vehicles that fire shell projectiles at your ball from a distance. Read the full breakdown in our Enemies & Bosses Guide.

Community and Level Editor

PuttDaily includes a full-featured Level Editor that lets you design custom mini-golf holes with all the same elements found in the generated courses: walls, hazards, enemies, bosses, checkpoints, and more. Publish your creations to the community gallery where other players can discover, play, and rate them. The editor works on both desktop and mobile devices. Built for the Browser

The entire game is built with vanilla JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas, with no frameworks or heavy dependencies. It runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. Sound effects are synthesized with the Web Audio API, and community level data is stored via Supabase. Your personal game progress, scores, and cosmetic preferences are saved locally in your browser's localStorage, keeping your data on your device.

Free and Ad-Supported

PuttDaily is completely free to play with no in-app purchases or premium tiers. The game is supported by advertising through Google AdSense.
